Changing company after green card EAD

I came to the US on L1visa ; my company started the processing of my green card in 2010.

Currently , I have got the Green Card EAD ; the 6 months time-frame from the time I filed for the Green Card will be completed in August.

1. How does my Green Card processing affect if I decide to change my company and location after the 6-month date.

e.g.... Can I still keep my current Priority Date.....Can I stay in the USA on green card EAD and AP document after I change my company....Do I need to get my labor certification re-approved. ????

2. What happens if I loose my job with the new company ; do I have some time to stay back and find another job or would I have to go back to India in that case.
