harsh7824
Does anybody know a reputable IT consulting firm that can sponsor H1B and pays well? Link to comment
JoeF
Why looking for a consulting firm? It is nowadays better to have a direct employer. Link to comment
harsh7824
Thanks Joe, but that’s a while different conversation. Does anyone have experience that they could share? Link to comment
rahul412
Thanks Joe, but that’s a while different conversation. Does anyone have experience that they could share? My experience, consulting will be fine if you have EAD like OPT. When you are in H1B, I suggest you to go for direct employment, getting H1 for consulting jobs these days is very difficult. JoeF
It is not a "different conversation." A large part of consulting stuff is dead nowadays, due to abuse. Find a "normal" employer. Link to comment
rahul412
Thanks Joe, but that’s a while different conversation. Does anyone have experience that they could share? Even the multinational consulting firm's petitions are getting rejected these days. Link to comment
harsh7824
Appreciate the advice, but just looking for the top consulting firms that pay well. Does anyone have experience with ones that pay well? Link to comment
JoeF
Again, find a real employer, not a consulting firm. It isn't rocket science... Link to comment
harsh7824
Thanks for the input JoeF. I hear what you're saying. Not looking for "real" employers though. Can anyone point to project-based consulting firms that they can vouch for? Link to comment
JoeF
Thanks for the input JoeF. I hear what you're saying. Not looking for "real" employers though. Care to explain why not? Why would you go for something that is causing lots of problems for people? Are you somehow masochistic that you want to experience the problems yourself? Link to comment
harsh7824
Up to me if I want to consult or go full-time. My reasons don't matter. What I am looking for is someone who has worked fur a consulting compaay that they can recommend Link to comment
JoeF
Sigh. We are telling you that you'd make a bad choice, that it would be bad for your career. Do you really want to kill your career? In any case, what you are looking for doesn't exist. Link to comment
