rkumar2012
Does it matter to have your approved I-140 and Perm document with you even after you got your GC? Because my employer never shared these documents with me. I joined the company in Sep 2011 and they filed my GC in Nov 2011 under EB2 (with porting of PD). In Feb. 2012, I got my GC but I don't have I-140 and Perm approved documents with me. Now, I am looking for a change. Experts please advise here. Link to comment
JoeF
You only need the actual GC. Link to comment
Attorney_23
Looking for a change in what? A change in employers? If so, a foreign national with a GC would not generally need a copy of the approved PERM/I-140 to move to a new employer. (In fact, there are few situations where a foreign national would need these documents once the GC has been approved.) Link to comment
