satyajithkb
Hi everyone, Is it true that you need a Bachelors or a Masters degree from US in order to go to either Canada or Mexico for H1 Visa stamping? I only have a Bachelors degree from India, from a well known university, and also have the original evaluation certificate and marks cards of all 8 semesters. This is not my first time stamping either. Will not having a degree from US still be a concern? Please advise. Link to comment
sbalasu3
No. You don't need a degree (bachelor or Masters) from US attend in Canada/Mexico. But, some places don't allow change of status to H1 if its the first time. Check with the consulate. Link to comment
giri26
I think you need a US Masters degree to attend the interview in Canada (I may be wrong, someone can clarify this). In Mexico though they allow only renewals. This means that you should have gotten your first Visa in India. If you did you can go to Mexico for renewal. Link to comment
