H1b Stamping in Canada

Hi,

I want to go for H1b stamping in Canada in next couple of months and have few questions on how to answer the questions.

This is my H1b renewal for sep2011 to sep2014.

My first term was from sep2008 to sep2011.

I came to USA in 2010 march and started doing job from Aug2010.

If VO ask me how long you have been working with the employer.. Should I say from 2008(almost 4 years) or should I say 2 years(from aug2010) ?

If they ask me why I was not in US after first H1B stamping in 2008 immediately?

How should I answer these?
