Green Card in OPT

Can I start Green Card in OPT and can I go out of the country after applying for GC in OPT.

An employer would have to file labor certification, etc. (unless you are going for National Interest Waiver.)

OPT is part of the F1, and the F1 doesn't allow immigration intent, so depending on the stage of the GC process, it may not be possible to enter the US on an F1 visa.
