Being on "NO-SHOW" can a new HDFC amount be paid and proceed for a new interview

Hello All,

For different reasons, we cancelled the H4 interview appointment for my spouse for the first time and unfortunately we had to do it again. So when checking with vfs, they advised to do a NO SHOW so that after two minimal working days, we can go to any vfs center and reactivate the HDFC receipt, so that a new appointment can be booked. While being the case in "NO SHOW", I'm wondering, if we can go ahead and take new HDFC receipt (by paying again) and start looking for appointments, instead of waiting for them to respond back on "NO SHOW". My question is, since the original HDFC payment might be tied to the passport, not sure if we can go ahead for another HDFC receipt for the same passport, while the previous one is still pending.
