equity as reward over salary

Hi experts,

I am on H1B visa and working in a small private start up company (LLC). Can the company reward me private equity (not stock) as bonus / reward apart from my normal salary (which is as par prevailing wage)?

You always need to get paid at least the salary listed on the LCA. Additional payments or rewards above that salary are fine.
