My H1 is expiring in Aug 2012. My company is applying for GC under EB-1.

1. Is it possible to apply for H1B extension with I-140 recpt?

2. If not, then is it possible to apply for H1 extension from India once I-140 is approved?

You need an approved I140 for extension.
