H1 B extension

Hello,

I have applied for H1 on 2011 and got it for only 11 months, Now I have to file extension. Currently I am out of project. Can I apply for extension with out a client letter?

There are 99% of chances to receive RFE if you file extension without client letter. Moreover when you find the project, make sure that you get the req documents from the client before getting into that project.

=> H1b is an employment based visa and it can be filed by your employer only if they have have valid job for you. They don't have it? In plain English, no work, no H1b.
