H-1 transfer clarifications

My previous employer filed for a new H-1B on my behalf in April this year (I am presently working on an L-2 EAD). In early June there was a workforce reduction and I was forced to change employers in June. In the meantime the original H-1B petition has been approved. Can I have that H-1B transferred to my current employer? If so, do I need the approval notice or would the original application receipt be sufficient?

Also Iam not sure if my H-1 has been revoked by the previous employer. is there any way to know whether the H-1 petition was revoked .
