Appointment date July 17th Vancouver . one way or return tickets

Hi All,

I have an appointment on July 17th Vancouver.

Could any one please suggest what should be the best way to book flight tickets .one way or a return ticket on 19th July.

Does it takes more then 3 days ti get the passport.

Please share some ideas on this,

I used http://www.google.com/flights/ and have round trip with WestJEt. My appointment on August 31st.. return flight on September 6th.

In your case, I would recommend July 21st evening or July 23rd evening..

In case of WestJet, you can change schedule before 24 hours with a fee of $50. I believe this is better than buying ticket 1 day before. Just my perspective and knowledge though..

My case: E-C model

1st H1b : year 2008 : same employer, same client

present H1b renew: same employer and same client

very few question:

• how long have you been working in US.
  
• what to do you do?
  
• Is your company paying you well?
  
• who is your client?
  
• are you single or married?
  
• did you do masters in US?
  

that's it he dint ask for any docs to check . I dint open my file.

everyone got the visa that day.

The only guy in counter number 6 asks a lot of questions and checks all the docs , but eventually he also gives the visa.

I went to counter number 4.

So i would suggest to go prepared with all the docs and you will get it.</p>
