while h1-b transfer do we have to apply h4 for change of status

HI there,

I have valid h1-b till march 2014 with employer A , My h4s also having same valid date.Now i changed to employer B they applied for h1 transfer, my new employer saying h4 application is not required.since they have validlity till march 2014.is it true? do i need to file I-539 for my h4's? or no need?

I got the reicept so can i apply with it.. if it is required.

Please someone let me know on this.
