usr4891
Guys, Need some sincere suggestions on this..... I went to India recently for a visit; Also i had to go for stamping for change of status; Unfortunately, I didnt knew about h1 amendment and i didnt my h1 with new client and location. for that reason my stamping got rejected; now my question is there anyway i could reopen the case with USCIS and get an approval and go for stamping again? Since amending h1's with change of clients and locations is employers responsibility, can i take any action against my employer....i dont have any hard feelings against my employer but i want to do this so that this is not repeated by any other employer. ysanjay09
You can ask your Employer and do the H1 Amendment and can go for Visa agian I think. Yes you can take action agians't your employer by mailing USCIS that he never did H1 Amendmetment and be specific in your email Link to comment
Raghu_N
I think legally your employer doesn't have to amend H1 when you change client and location. Atleast thats what I heard from my employer when I stressed about my H1 amendment. ( I work for one of the top consulting firms in US) Link to comment
