Hello Chandra,

I've seen a case similar to this, One of my friends friend Came to Canada for stamping, he had a drink and drive record, it is equal to conviction. He had got the visa approved but later at the consulate they asked him to get a verification from the Psychologist and get a few tests done, it took him like 40 days and 7K$ in costs to get the tests done. Now he has returned to US.

I dont know if this is similar to your case. normally they say that if you have this kind of record, you would not even get visiting visa to the Canada or UK. Some how this guy got through, it is up to you to try your luck. But try!
