H1B Visa data availability

Hi

I am going to India for H1 stamping for the first time. I am a full time employee. I am going to india in august. I have been trying to book slot in august but i do not find any slots at all.

Infact i have been searching for august slots from march of this year. It looks like the consulates are opening only 3 weeks ahead slots.

Eg: since this is June, the consulates are opening slots till July mid. And so on

Am i right? How do i book the slot for august. Has anyone booked august slot, or it might be around july mid when they would open the august slots

also, Do i need I129 fom? i filled up DS160
