nandac
i think health care industries are exempt from the h1b cap. but will this work for a contract too? ie if the h1b is sponsored by a software company but the project is with a hospital, will it qualify for a cap exemption? appreciate the insights. JoeF
i think health care industries are exempt from the h1b cap. You think wrong. Only universities, non-profit research organizations affiliated with universities, and government research institutions are cap-exempt. A Hospital would only be cap-exempt if it is a non-profit research hospital affiliated with a university. Link to comment
