Company closing down

Hi,

I am on H1B visa and my company is closing down abruptly. My wife is on dependent visa. How much time do I have to find another job? Please help.

There is no grace period if you get laid off.

The employer would have to pay for your trip back to your home country if you wish to go back (not for dependents, though.)

If you want to stay a bit to find another job, both you are your spouse would have to file COS to another status, e.g. B2.
