SQLnsg Posted June 23, 2012 Report Share Posted June 23, 2012 Hi, Need some expert advise , My petition is L1A during the interview for some reason the consular did not provided L1A visa , but my stamping was L1B , Now its time for my L1 extention , So the question is. Should my company file the extention for L1A as the petition is for L1A Or Should i prepare for L1b extention , was there any chance of approvals for this kind of bizare cases ? You can explain the situation to USCIS in the petition and see how they reply. Ultimately, unless you are working in an L1B capacity, USCIS would be unlikely to approve an L1B extension. Therefore, you may simply have to prove you meet the L1A requirements, as would have been required regardless of the error. You may wish to contact an experienced attorney to assist your company in filing the petition. Link to comment
