Dinu464
My company has a massive restructuring and I am in a FT position, so if there is a lay off what are my options. I read about this option convert to B2 (visitor visa) and then back to h1b.Search for FT job in-between. Question: Are there any legal complications with this process? Should I leave the country and reenter if I do my h1b again? Please let me know Link to comment
JoeF
Prepare form I-539 for a COS to B2, just in case. If you are laid off, you can then file that immediately. If you find another employer, that employer can just file an H1 petition for you. No need to leave the country as long as you are always in valid status. Link to comment
