With valid reason you may be on long term leave (as you case), but you should have paystubs for every pay cycle. This paystubs may be 0 payments. Ask your employer to provide you paystubs even with 0 salary. If you don't have paystub, how will you prove you were related to your employer for last 3 months? USICS would also be interested to know this. No employer - employee relationship means no H1b status. Link to comment

Even if you are on leave, employer should give you the paystub mentioning your PTO or leave or leave code and the amount may be $0. Link to comment
