Failed to File H1 this year

Hello All,

I am currently on OPT extension which will end in Dec 2012. My Student VISA expires in August 2012. I failed to file H1 this time as my project got ended and was waiting for another job to file my H1. In this waiting period the H1 quota got filled please suggest me the possibilities to continue my work in USA after Dec.

There is no option. You will have to leave the country.

You could work for your employer remotely, and if the employer files an H1 in next years quota, and it gets approved, you can come back on Oct. 1, 2013.

You still have 2 months for August 2012. Learn about O1 visa. Publish some papers and try this. Well, getting O1 is very tough to get, but know more about this. It more depends on lawyer's paperwork.
