tux78
Hi, My current h1b permit is valid until 04/2014. And my entry visa is valid until 06/2013. I am planning to change job in Aug and travel in sept. My current visa has Emp A. If I switch to Emp B (without being out of status and leaving the country), can I travel with the current visa? Or Do I need to apply for another visa? My understanding is: As long as I am not out of status and my visa is valid, I can travel with the current visa even if change job. Link to comment
SameerH1Bworker
Yes, you can come back with existing visa stamp, as long as stamp is valid, no matter which employers. At POE, you need to present latest I-797(of new employer), so, you'll get I-94 based on that. Link to comment
