H1 Extention 6th yr - Labour pending

Hi Guru's,

Status:

My H1B will expire on Jan/08/2013.

PERM(Labour) was filled on 12/12/2011, Still pending approval.

After i filled my lobour(job title: Jr.Consultant), i got promoted (Sr. Consultant),

I think since the labour was filled before 365 days, i would be able to file an extention - pending labour approval.

Question

1. Should i wait for approval, and then file for 3 yrs extention OR it is advisable to file for 1yr Extention.

2. What Job Title should i put on H1B extention. If i put Sr. consultant, would that cause any issue with labour.

I do not think you can file for 3yr extension based on Labor, you need approved I-140 to apply for a 3 yr extension.
