HelloPK
Hi all, My husband received the H1b receipt with case number dated June 4th. When we search the case number on USCIS website, it says : "Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283." Has anyone come across this scenario..? How to go about this...? Link to comment

blueie
Dashes ("-") should be omitted while entrying in USCIS site. Make sure that you will have 13 char length after removing this special char. Link to comment
livliv
Online case status is not always the most accurate. Link to comment
Attorney_22
This is a common error on the USCIS online case status system. For an update in this situation is it advisable to contact USCIS directly via the 1-800 phone number. Link to comment
wiweq
"For an update in this situation is it advisable to contact USCIS directly via the 1-800 phone number." => Only employer or attorney (who filled the petition) can call them, not the beneficiary. Link to comment
Applicant_786
Hello, Even my petition reached USICS Vermount on 4th June. I received the receipt notice yesterday from my Attorney. Even for me its giving same error, tired calling the 800 number as well. But the IVR just keep telling my Case does not exist and finally i had to hang my call.. No option by to wait. Keep posted if you are able to view your husband's case online Any one else facing this issue?? Link to comment

It’s property of your employer (they paid for this); only they can call them, and USCIS will only entertain them. Stay away from other's property. Link to comment
