jonnasn
Will USCIS accept the applications once the CAP is reached? Is there any chance of slots opening if the petitions that were filed get rejected? Link to comment
JoeF
They only accept cap-exempt applications. Link to comment
jonnasn
Cap-exempt aare basically the H1 transfers, Masters in US etc...is that right? So there is not even a 1% chance of filing a new h1 this year? I was thinking on the lines of slots opening if any of the filed petitions get rejected? is that really a valid assumption? wiweq
"Is there any chance of slots opening if the petitions that were filed get rejected?" => No, they take more than allocated numbers (more than 65k+20k) of petitions to accommodate the rejected ones. They get this figure from last years no of rejected peiotions. Link to comment
JoeF
Cap-exempt aare basically the H1 transfers, Masters in US etc...is that right? Transfers and H1 applications for university jobs and the like. The masters quota is also full, actually, it was already full on June 7. I was thinking on the lines of slots opening if any of the filed petitions get rejected? is that really a valid assumption? They don't open such slots. Link to comment
