L2 Stamping while H1B (2013) is approved

Hi,

I have question regarding my dependents visa stamping on L2.

currently my wife is having an EAD on L2. Recently my L1 visa got extended and stamped. After my L1 extension, my company applied my dependents I-94 extension. This got approved last week and my wife also have approved H1 B from 2013 quota which is valid from 1st Oct 2012.

Now, my family is planning to visit India. when they visit India they have to go to US embessey to get their L2- visa stamped. Based on this situation, I have following question on my dependents L2 visa stamping,

As my wife have approved H1 B visa from 2013 quota (which is valid from 1st Oct 2012), are their any chance of overwriting her H1 B visa when she go for L2 visa stamping?

Note: She is planning to visit US embassy in Chennai in last week of Jun or 1st week of Jul 2012.

Please let me know on the same at the earliest.

In general, obtaining an L2 visa should have no impact on an approved H1B petition.

Hi ,

I have question regarding pregenent Wife(Due 12/26) Traveling to INDIA for 3 months duration.

Currently my wife is on L2 visa which is valid till 12/10/2012. Her employer filed change of Status to H1B which is still pending for decision from USCIS 2013. Additionally I am under L1 visa which is getting converted to H1B Approved(2013) starting from Oct 1 2012.

Is it adviceable for wife to travel to INDIA from dates July - Sept/Oct End.

Please advice ASAP.
