What if I cancel my H1B application before I get the approval?

Hello,

I completed my Master's in December 2011 and started working as a full time employee. My Organization is not e-verified and they applied for H1B on April 10 2012. I would like to cancel my H1B application as I don't want to loose my OPT period and would like to change the organization as well. May I know, if that gonna have any remark for my profile if I re-apply for H1B application next year from different organization ?

Our company applied for H1B application and it's not premium and my the current status is still in Initial Review stage. What are the dis-advantages if I cancel the H1B application before I get the approval ?

This won't affect you future H1b, but you need to make sure that H1b doesn’t get approved before revoking. Once approved, no way to come back on OPT.
