dnh1b Posted June 8, 2012 Report Share Posted June 8, 2012 Hi, Visa Interview for H1B ( Extension after 3 years) Interview Date : May 29th 2012 Location : Chennai Common Muslim Name : No. I got a small pink slip from counter 31 after all my documents were verified at a previous counter.They retained only my Passport and said they do not require any other documents. I am working on EVC model. My husband(who is on H1) and my Kid(who is on H4 as a dependent of my husband) got their visa stamped without any issues. Did any one else have the same situation? What are they actually verifying? If they are actually verifying my background, can I send any kind of documents to expedite the process? Thanks, Divya Link to comment

Hoping it will get done before the school reopens and also not sure how long the client will support the remote work. Is it possible to take back the passport and apply for an H4 while the admin processing is under progress? Link to comment

I did the same when I was issued pink slip back in 2010. But rather wait, the say wait until 60-90 days before you inquire about your case status Link to comment
