However my project in US got over and I returned to India in Feb 2012. Now I'm in India and getting an offer in US. Can I transfer my H1B from India to another employer. What should I ask the new company to process to enable me get the visa from India. Link to comment

What should I ask the new company to process to enable me get the visa from India. => Yes. Each H1b is independent and new. Employer can file your H1b while you are outside of USA. I797 wont have attached I94, but you would get it at POE after showing the effective I797. Link to comment
