EB2 Eligibility

Hello Everyone,

My Details:

1. Education: 12 + 3 (Bachelors) + 3 (Masters) = 18 years

2. Experience: 2 years experience with current employer.

Would that make me eligible to apply in EB2 ?

Yes, Only 3 years Bachelors + 3 years Master makes it eligible for EB2. However, you need to get credential evaluation to show your master degree is equivalent to US masters.

I am not sure but I guess for Masters in EB2, they need a 4 years Bachelors + 2 or 3 Years Masters, if done outside the US. I think that's the reason people with BSc. + MCA done from India and less than 5 years of experience don't qualify for a EB2 job requiring the masters degree. I am not sure on this but I guess I read something like this somewhere.

Instead of trying to figure out based on peoples comments/opinion, go through one of the accrediated credentials evaluation companies (WES, for one) and get your credentials evaluated to get a US equivalent. That would be your answer in black and white.

I have MS in computer science + 4.5 years of experienced . My job requires B.S or M.S . Am I eligible for eb2 ?

Did you find any solution. I also have the same query. Am I eligible for EB2.

I have 3 ysr Bachelors degree (BS) + 3 yrs Master degree (MS) from India and have 9 yrs of IT exp. My company is planning to file for GC. The job requirements says Bachelors degree and 5 yrs of exp.

my questions is - Will 3 yrs BS + 3 yrs MS will suit the job requirements and can be applied in EB2 or because I have 3 yrs BS does this fall into EB3 category.

The job requirements are what counts.

Since the minimum job requirement is a Bachelor, the case would be in EB3.
