H1B first time stamping in Toronto

Hi everybody,

I came here on F1 and have been working on H1 for the last couple of years but haven't gone out of the country after the change from F1 to H1. I work full time for a academic institution as bio researcher. I am in the process of applying for canada visit visa so I can go to Toronto for H1B stamping. Is there anyone in the boat as me? If so are you going to canada anytime soon? Do you have any thoughts you would like to share? Any help is appreciated and I will do the best to contribute to the forum with whatever I know.
