After completion of 5 years in USA I went back to India and stayed in India for 1.5 year. During that 1.5 year time period I have applied for brand new H1B visa under cap. I went back to India on July 2010 after 5 years in L1B. I came back to US on 01-Jan-2012 on brand New H1B, which was valid till 12-May-2012. I did apply for H1B extension for 3 years, but I got H1B extension approval for only 1 year. Can anyone please explain me any reason I got only 1 year approval on my H1B.
