H1b : PP time at California

Hi ,

I did applied for h1b extension with PP at CSC

Applied: May16

Receipt : May 17

RFE : May 29

My employer says he answered the query on May 31 st ,but when i see in status on the website its still show "request for evidence"

My question is how long does USCIS takes to update the site to "RFE Response Review" ? and also how long it takes for decision

Can someone pls advise me on this

Generally, the USCIS online case status is not always up to date. Generally, once a response to evidence has been submitted the 15 day clock will start again and USCIS will make a decision on the case within 15 calendar days.

Submitted the documents on June 5th

Status changed to "Request for evidence response review " on June 8th

awaiting for the decision

i have few questions

1.How much time does it take to get the i797 hard copy

2. Can i go to visa Stamping ? ,or should i wait till my new extension period starts (i.e from Sep 23rd 2012 - this will be my h1b extension i haven't gone for stamping on the first h1b ,which was applied through masters degree)

Any reply on this would be highly appreciated

My extension-pp was approved on Jun 4th. Still I haven't received the hardcopy. I am not sure unless my employer is keep saying that it is not received yet.

If it is COS employer will have to provide I797 hard copy. It is mandatory as it also will have the new I94 attached to it.

PP for RFE response decision should not take more than 14 working days ,you should except by 16th july
