H1B Transfer - When will I receive I-797?

My H1B petition was approved on May 7, 2012. So far I haven't received a copy of I-797 from my Employer. They say it usually take 4-5 weeks to receive I-797 approval notice. If I remember correctly I got approval notice for my original H1 petition within a week or so. Can someone clarify? Is there anyway I could get a copy of I-797 from USCIS - I wanted to go for my wife H4 ASAP for which I need to have I-797.

Generally, it may take between 15 to 60 days to receive the original approval notice in the mail. USCIS has recently indicated that it is taking longer to issue notices due to an increase in the number of petitions being filed. Petitions filed premium processing will usually receive an email notification that the petition has been approved.
