Ron K
My current immigration status is below 1. Currently working for Company A. - Completed 6 years of H1. - Currently working on my 3 year H1 extension sponsored by Company A. - I have PERM and i-140 approved by application that was applied by Company A. I have a offer letter from Company B. Please advice if approved i-140's copy (from Company A) needs to be provided to Company B in order to do H1B transfer? Appreciate any feedback from ones who have done H1B transfer after completing first 6 years of H1B. Thanks in advance. Link to comment
morphtk
From my understanding, If you already have the 3 yr extension and the I-94 with the extended date, you don't need I140 from Company A. I140 from Company A is needed in 2 scenarios: 1. To request 3 yr extension on an expiring H1. 2. To use its old PD for any new GC application. Hope this helps. Link to comment
