H1b reaffirmed, next step?

Hello,

I went to Hyderabad consulate for H1b extension stamping last year october, but they sent the case back to USCIS for review.

I got H1b reaffirmed now. I need to go to stamping inerview again.

Is it compulsory to go to Hyderabad consulate for stamping on reaffirmed H1?

or can i go to any other consulate like Chennai.

On which date you attended interview in October. Please let me know this. I think you need to go to Hyderabad consulate only for stamping. you will get a e-mail from them.

Hey Manish, did you get re-affirmed directly or did your employer get a NOIR and then re-affirmation? Also, which service center handled your case?

My employer got a NOIR initially and then employer recieved the reaffirmation, I guess service center is vermont.

I would say just email Vfs Hyderabad stating that you got re-affirmed and ask for the next steps. They should call you for a re-interview. Thats what I have seen ppl do.

Don't wait for them to email you first. They may take ages! Chase them!!

So did you go the second interview ( after you got your H1B reaffirmed) to the Hyderabad Consulate or is there a flexiblity to go to any other consulate in india with the reaffrimed notice. Please let me know.

@sg1010: Please let me know, when did you attend your visa stamping for the first time.

I attended visa stamping on 31-Oct-2011 and USCIS started reviewing from 15-Dec-2011.

Still waiting for the response from USCIS.
