Can an employer revoke I-140?

Hi Friends need some advise.

My job sucks, and I want to change company but I am not sure this is the right time for move since I have to file my Labor in before Oct 2012 for extension.

My 6 year H1B expires on Oct 2013. My current company just started my GC process recently and the attorney says that he will file the Labor before Oct 2012. .

So I am thinking, I will go on with the current Job till I get my I-140 approved so that I can have my priority date and then look for other opportunities.

My question is Do the employers have the right to revoke or cancel the approved I-140? and how long you ahve to stay with your employer after you get your I-140 before you move.

Please, through some advise.

Thanks

One peice of advise, just make sure you get you H1B extended based on the approved I-140 for the next 3 years, before they revoke you I-140.

When you switch jobs you still need to be on H1B, and you would need to transfer your H1 to the new company, but what will you transfer if you do not have it extended.

May be you already have it all covered, I just wanted to be cautious.
