redgreenbluee Posted September 15, 2011 Report Share Posted September 15, 2011 please consult a lawyer. then one has to wait until the beneficiary can apply H1 extension beyond 6 years either by changing to another status or leaving the US. to be eligible for H1 extension beyond 6 years, an individual will need a pending (or approved and unexpired) LC for at least 365 days or approved I-140.
