Ottawa successful stamping ....

Posting it late but here goes my Visa interview.

This was my first time h1b stamping and this was an extension.

I was in EVVC model.

Me: Good Morning

VO: Good Morning . how are you doing?

Me: Xyz

VO: I see that you have done your masters ...Where did you do your masters from?

ME:xyz

VO: When did you graduate and what was your major?

Me: XYZ

VO: After your masters ..have you being working with XYZ company(employer)?

Me: Yes and told the number of years.

VO: How long you being working at XYZ(client).

Me: xyz

VO: he looked at my client letter and asked..what exactly you do at the client.

Me: XYZ...

VO: What database they use ?( this was unexpected)

Me Oracle.

VO: Ohh oracle ..like most of the clients?

Me: xyz

VO: How long do you think this project will further continue?

Me: XYZ.

VO: Who is your previous client?

Me: XYZ.

VO: so you work for SAP ?.

Me: xyz. xyz xyz.....

He read my client and vendor letter again and then typed something in the computer, returned all my documents except passport and told i am approving your VISA......gave me a slip which has intstructions to track the passport.

It took two weeks for them to return my passport as there was a problem with my petition in there system.

I am back in US now.

I would say confidence is the key and also a bit of luck.

The person before me got a 221G even though he was a fulltime employee.

Also dont forget to carry your old petition if this is your first time stamping, the immigration officer at the border gave me hard time even though i had all the docs and stamped VISA.
