H1B Expiring in Sep 2012, How longi can get Visa Stamping

Hi Friends

My Current H1B Expiring in Sep 2012. I am applying for extension , if i get approved by end of June. i am planning stamping to canada, My question is How long i can get visa stamped. My employer is saying that i can get Stamped till Sep2012 based on Current H1b, because the new one will be active from Sep 2012.

someone saying that if show my New H1b, the VO will issue visa based new H1B,

Can you please explain if anyone has any idea......

Hi Sam,

I am also in the same situation.

My current H1b visa (not stamped) expires in sep, 2012. And I got my extension approved for three years on june 3rd, 2012 (which is valid till sep, 2015). Now I am planning to go to Canada to get stamped in this July. My question is do I get stamped for next 3 years also or only until sep,2012. I searched a lot but did not get a proper answer. Can you let me know if you got any answers.
