Can you please let me know when did you got 221g form? I know 4 people who got 221g and no one heard any updates from Ottawa consulate.

1 person got on April 30th, one person got on May 2nd, 2 of them on May 14th.

Did they contacted your client?

I got 221g on 22 may. They took my passport thats it. All other documents were returned. I donno what they will do with my passport, looks like back ground check. As they do not have any documents like client letter, vendor, employer letter and all, I cannot expect them to contact my client and all

what color 221g did u get ?

In Ottawa

If you get 221g white with further review , then your Client will get an email with few questions.

This will be resolved in 2-4 weeks if your client acts fast.

221g blue with Admin processing has no time -frame but VO has the passport , so you can expect anything after 3 weeks as the case goes to Dept of State and they are slow

getting Visa/221g in Ottawa is only based on luck/bad luck nothing else.

mine is blue slip and its back ground verification. My interview went well. But I have a dismissed misdaminor case in 2008.

VO told my case needs to go for Clearence. He kept my PP and court documents. Not sure wen its going to be cleared.

I had stayed in Quality inn for almost 1 week and am planning to move from here.

221g white usually takes anywhere between 2-4 weeks. When I was there, some got in 10 days, for me it took 4 weeks.

you can try barefoot hostel for accommodation, they charge around $36-38 and will have internet.,,,good luck

Interview date: may 22 at Ottawa

Got 221g for background verification on criminal record.

Cleared on july 13th.

Leaving on 21st to canada to submit my passport on 23rd. fro India.
