EMP A cancelling approved I-140, Can I port priority date with EMP B filing new GC

I have a query about I 140 portability. Here is my case details and question:

From my previous employer, I have I-140 approved in March 2010 under EB3 ( priority date is June 2009). So now it’s more than a year that I140 was approved. I haven't filed I-485 as priority date is not current.

Then I changed my employer in Dec 2010. Now my new employer is filing my Green card.

Here is my question:

My Old employer is revoking/cancelling my approved I-140. Can I still retain priority date for new GC petition with New employer.? Please note my I140 is approved for more than 1 year now.

Please advise and share your experience.
