nchhabria
I have done my Bachelor in Commerce (3 yrs) from India + 1 year full time course from IBM; which is equivalent to a Bachelor's in IT + 2 IT certifications from Sun Microsystems (SCJP and SCWCD) + 8 yrs of IT experience + I was in my own business for 5 yrs, related to an IT field. With this background, can my GC be filed in EB2 category ? I understand the criteria is 4 yrs bachelors + 5 yrs Exp. But will my other education and experience be considered ? Link to comment
SameerH1Bworker
NO. Only govt. accredited UNIVERSITIES' degree considers as education no other institutes course qualify for it, not even IBM or bigger then IBM. So, even with 3 years Bachelor degree + 50 years of exp, one will be considered under EB3 only unless person is multinational company's executive then he/she can file in EB1. Link to comment
JoeF
Industry certifications don't matter at all. Only real academic degrees from real, accredited universities matter. Link to comment
