H1 Extension applied April 26th 2012- NO receipt yet

Hi

I applied for my H1 Extension on April 26th 2012 at the vermont center, I have not received a receipt notice yet neither has the company check to USCIS been cleared.

Anyone who knows what the processing time is for H1 Extension and how long since thy receive the application do they deposit the check or start processing the papers.

Here is the same situation of mine as yours.

Received by USCIS - 24th Apr 2012

Notice Date - May 17th

So your case may already been picked, you should be getting your receipt anytime by now.

Please check with your lawyer.

My application was sent to USCIS on April 24th but I still havent received the receipt yet. When I contacted the lawyer, he told me that USCIS has been taking 6-8 weeks to issur receipt notices and they have issued an official statement about that. http://content.govdelivery.com/bulletins/gd/USDHSCIS-41b71c
