Stamping - H1 on Michigan LCA & Maryland work address???

Hi All,

I am trying to go to Canada for stamping. Applied H1 (April 2011) with Michigan LCA & Maryland work (client) address, and still working for same client. Payroll runs in Michigan (on company address). I live, work in Maryland. I came to know this is a big issue. How can I fix this issue?

Hey Pratap,

In your Case you need to ask your Employer to File for H1b ammendment with Maryland LCA and Once you get the H1b Ammendment Approval You can go for your Visa Stamping with those Documents.

The employer needs to file an amendment which has to list the work location. That is completely unrelated to client changes.
