First off I would like to thank all the members who shared their experiences and answered my questions whenever I posted on this forum.

My Interview was at 9:15 and I was called in at 9:00. By the time I passed security check and all the counters it was 9:20 and had to wait at the visa counter for almost 2 hours.

My profile: f1 to H1b

Graduated in 2008 Dec.

worked for an mnc with almost 25000 employees from 2008 March till september 2011 as a full time employee.

transfered my h1b to a small company with just 52 employees in september and am working with the same till now as a full time employee.

They called me to the counter at around 11:15 and below is the conversation:

VO: next please (after putting a query to a H4 candidate)

VO: pass me ur passport

ME: How are you officer and passed the passport

VO: what is your company

ME: named it

VO: WHat do they do

ME: told him

VO: wait, how many employees in ur company

ME: told him

VO: How long have been with them?

ME: told him

VO: u been to US already

ME: Yes

VO: number 13 sir...go to counter 13...and gives my passport back to me

ME: I was shocked and told him the token says this is my counter...

VO: Yeah I know...i am just dealing with people with marriage and spouse visas counter 13 is quick you can go there

ME: OK

Walked to the other counter and I was all nervous( a bit jittery as well)

VO at 13: Give me your passport

ME: Hello sir how are you and gave him the passport

VO: Good how are you

ME: Good thanks

VO: what is your company and what do they do?

ME: told him

VO: give me your old passport

ME: i passed it to him

VO: where do you live

ME: told him

VO: how many employees in your company

ME: told him

VO: so you are the only employee that is sponsored a visa? how did that happen

ME: told him

VO: pass me your paystubs

ME: gave him all of them

now the VO verifies all the stubs and then comes the golden words

congrats sir...you been granted the visa..and you will get your passport with in 3-5 days...

I said thanks and left and now waiting for the passport...

Hi Sapen,

Even mine is same situation as you. I work as a full time employee in US and have my visa interview on May 31st 2012 in Hyderabad.

What have you answered for the question: so you are the only employee that is sponsored a visa? how did that happen?

Thanks
