Since mine was bit unusual case i planned to write my experience to help others.

Case: 221g before during 1st h1b stamping @ delhi

Visa received with validity less that petition. Visa already expired while me 1st petition valid and extension also received

Went to TJ for extension.

Followed pritty much everything what others have written. Stayed at real del rio. ASC first day and intv on next day.

VO asked usual question(e.g company name and job/duties and start of full time date). Total time less than 5 mins

Visa approved included time for both petitions !!

we were 4 Indians that day 2 full time and 2 EVC model. all of our visa got approved. Though other ppl intv went on for 10-30 mins

picked up passport next day and came back US

PS: While filing application use most recent i797 petition number.

FYI: i work fulltime in fortune 200 company

3) Can i take advantage of this trip to get stamping in Tijuana instead of traveling in india. I have plan to go india end of this year. Anyway I have to get stamping in india.

4)If yes can you please guide me the process and steps to get schedule the appointment from Tijuana US Counsulate.?

5) what are the documents I need to arrange on this vendor and Clients and My employer.?

or else If it too much risky I am ready to cancel the travel plan and roll of from the client and project.?
