I have a valid H1-B visa stamped from X company(Previous employer) which I have used in 2010 once for 3 months and it is valid till 31st July 2012. Currently I am in India and undergoing some recruitment process from US employer. After getting the go ahead from current employer, H1 B visa trasfer request would be rasied from Previous to Current employer on the basis of client letter and new I797 would be issued.

After getting the new I797 and client letter, should i go for stamping for current employer in India, in case i am travelling before 31st july 2012 from India to US even if my visa is valid till that time. Please advice.

No need of re-stamping. You should use the unexpired visa with new I797.

Seeing at the current rejection rate of H1b, I would suggest asking you employer to do the H1b in premium processing. Employee can also pay for PP ($1225). All other fees should be paid by employer. Using PP you can get the result in as soon as 15 days.
