I am planning to Travelling on OPT with approved H1

Hi All,

I have my OPT ending on Nov 2012 and Have got H1B approved, which starts from October 2012.

Can I travel to india(home) in month of July/ Aug on my OPT status? also am Graduated and i have job in my hand .

Because your H1b is approved with COS you are good to travel. Your change of status (COS) is scheduled on Oct 1st, 2012. Be present in USA on Oct 1st, your H1b will kick off that day. You don't need to get H1b stamping is arriving before Oct 1st.
